Here for Your Safety Every Hour, Every Day
We’re Here So You Can Feel at Home.
The safety of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors is a top priority at Presbyterian College. The Campus Police Department leads the College’s safety and security efforts, including emergency preparedness, crime prevention, law enforcement, and campus crime reporting. Our professional officers work around the clock to maintain a safe and secure environment for the entire campus community.
The department operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is located at the corner of S. Holland Street and 5th Avenue.

Student, Faculty, and Staff Parking
All students, faculty, and staff who park on campus must register their vehicle and display a permit on the rear windshield. There is no charge for parking permits. Visitor passes are required for guests staying longer than three hours and must be visibly displayed from the rearview mirror. Temporary permits are issued at the Campus Police Department. Handicap spaces require a valid state placard or Campus Police-issued permit. Improperly parked vehicles may be ticketed or towed at the owner’s expense.
See something? Say something—Report a Crime.
Presbyterian College maintains a zero-tolerance policy for crime on campus. The safety and well-being of our community are non-negotiable, and all criminal activity—whether minor or serious—will be addressed promptly and in accordance with college policy and the law. We are committed to fostering a secure environment where students, faculty, staff, and visitors feel safe and supported at all times.
Students, employees, and visitors are strongly encouraged to report any criminal offense, suspected criminal activity, fire, traffic accident, injury, or need for medical assistance immediately to the Campus Police Department. There are several ways to report:

The Campus Police Department responds immediately to all emergency calls and works in coordination with the Clinton Fire Department, Laurens County EMS, and other local emergency services to ensure a thorough and timely response. Calls are prioritized based on urgency:
1st Priority: Crimes against persons and personal injuries
2nd Priority: Non-active crimes, property crimes, and escort requests
3rd Priority: All other services
Presbyterian College Campus Police oversees safety at all college-owned properties, including off-campus housing and facilities.
The Laurens County Sheriff’s Department and Clinton Public Safety Department notify PC Campus Police of any serious off-campus incidents that could affect our community. When appropriate, timely warnings and advisories will be issued and posted on the College’s website.
If you are the victim or witness of a crime off-campus, dial 911 from any off-campus phone to report the incident or request emergency services.
