New Student Orientation Making Memories From Day One
New Student Orientation (NSO) provides meaningful programs and opportunities to support the transition and engagement of new students and their families to the academic, cultural, and social environment of Presbyterian College. NSO will take place Thursday to Sunday.

9:00am – 12:00pm
Prepare for Move-In* | Springs Great Room (Required)
This one-stop check-in will include opportunities to take care of important business with many campus offices. You will receive your Student ID and room key! Students must check in when they arrive on campus.
3:00pm
Athletics Meeting* | Kuhne Auditorium (Athletes & families are encouraged to attend.)
Get to know key Department of Athletics staff members and learn more about the expectations of being a Blue Hose student-athlete.
5:00 – 6:30pm
Welcome & Matriculation Ceremony* | Belk Auditorium (Required)
Kick off your PC experience by getting to know your Orientation Leader and taking part in one of our favorite traditions – the Honor Code signing.

Women’s Soccer Game | Martin Stadium
8:00pm
Residence Hall Meetings | Residence Hall Lobby (Required for residential students)
Residential students are required to meet their RA and learn about community at PC.
8:30pm
Group Meetup | Various Locations – (Required. Ask your Orientation Leader for details.)
End Move-in Day with a debrief with your Orientation Leader.

Late Night Springs | Springs Student Center
Bring a friend and enjoy ice cream sundaes, Nintendo Switch on the big screen, pinball machines, and open gym time!

Morning Kickoff | Belk Auditorium (Required)
Start the second day off right with a fun and energizing session hosted by Orientation Leaders.
10:30 – 11:30am
Constructive Conversations | Belk Auditorium (Required)
Students will put their Constructive Conversation modules to practice in their Orientation groups. All students are required to complete the accompanying modules prior to move-in.
11:30am – 1:00pm
Auxiliary Services & Dining Tour | Belk Auditorium | Greenville Dining Hall, Freshens, Boars Head (Required)
Hear from Dining Services and learn how to maximize your meal plan at all of the dining options on campus. Then have lunch with your Orientation group.

Keys to Student Success | Belk Auditorium (Required)
Classes are right around the corner! Learn about student success resources and opportunities from Career and Professional Development, Justice & Community Wellbeing, Academic Success, Accessible Education, and Campus Police.

President’s Reception | President’s House
Another classic PC tradition! Spend time with President Gustafson and enjoy sweet treats at the President’s House. Students will attend with their groups at a designated time. Dress code is snappy casual.

Scavenger Hunt | Springs Student Center
Get familiar with key campus locations and offices for a chance to enter into a prize drawing. Meet at the Springs Student Center porch at 10 in the morning for details to schedule advisor meetings or meet with other campus offices as needed.

Join Student Volunteer Services in a PC tradition by volunteering to pack meals for Rise Against Hunger. Rise Against Hunger is a global movement to end hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives, and responding to emergencies.
