Your Neighborhood Art Scene

You can view art from local, state, and national artists on exhibit in the Bailey Art Gallery. Named in honor of philanthropist Mary Bailey Vance Suitt, the gallery is located in the Bailey Rotunda of Neville Hall and features art for the community to enjoy. A reception welcoming the artist and introducing the artwork takes place at the beginning of each exhibit.

The Elizabeth Stone Harper Gallery hosts four exhibitions each year. Two exhibitions of work feature nationally and internationally recognized artists. The Senior Art Major Exhibit features the work of PC students who majored in art. The Annual Student Exhibit features the work of PC students who submitted artwork to the gallery. The gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays.  Admission to the gallery is free.

Music Performances

Christmas at PC is hailed as one of South Carolina’s finest Christmas traditions. The program has been a part of the Christmas season for over 20 years and features PC students performing in ensembles and solos. Christmas at PC takes place in Belk Auditorium and is one of the largest events to take place on the PC campus.

PC students and professors perform in various recitals and concerts throughout the year. From 30-minute recitals on Fridays in Edmunds Hall to the grandiose Christmas at PC in Belk Auditorium, you can almost always find a music performance to attend. Most musical performances are free and take place in Edmunds Hall or Belk Auditorium.

Updates will be communicated as needed.
