Where Potential Meets Practice

Internships are a transformative experience that can elevate your academic journey and career aspirations. Internships integrate theoretical knowledge with practical skills in a professional setting. When you intern, you’re able to explore potential career paths, build valuable connections, and develop essential skills that employers seek. Our commitment to service and academic excellence ensures that our students are not only intellectually prepared but also equipped to make a meaningful impact in their chosen fields.

  • Career Exploration: Internships allow you to explore different career paths and industries, helping you determine the best fit for your interests and skills.
  • Skill Development: Gain hands-on experience and develop skills that are highly valued by employers, such as teamwork, problem-solving, and communication
  • Networking Opportunities: Build connections with professionals in your desired field, potentially leading to future job opportunities or mentorship.
  • Academic Credit: Many internships can be used to fulfill general education requirements, providing a seamless integration of academic and professional experiences.

Gabby Brinez-Pardo ’25 traveled to Vanuatu for an internship at the South Pacific World War II Museum. Rather than basic visitor services, she performed professional-level work—registering artifacts, developing standards, creating exhibit storylines, and conducting research. This transformative experience inspired her to pursue a career in museum curation.
